Yes, you can copy your old BlackBoard 8 course over to your new BBLearn course, but there are some limitations. We recommend that you rebuild your course from scratch in BBLearn if you can, as we have found that:
The course migration process gathers colors, icons, and buttons for tools from BlackBoard 8 that sometimes don't work or look attractive in BBLearn
Size is an issue - your .bak course can only be 250MB or less.
User data causes migrations to fail - so no grades, discussion board topics, etc. can be copied.
